Adobe Acrobat suite is not available on Sentinel so if you need to access the software while working from home, you must install it on your local computer.

Step-by-step guide

Verify if you have a license

(If you know you have Adobe Pro DC license, skip to "Download the Adobe DC Pro Installer" below)

  1. Verify that an Adobe Pro DC license is assigned to your account by contacting Computer Services Helpdesk or look it up yourself
    1. Sign into adobe.com/ca using your Royal Roads email address
    2. Select Account
    3. Select View Account
    4. Under My Plans, Select View Plans
    5. Under Included applications and services, you should see "Acrobat DC Pro". If you do, you are good to go

Download the Adobe DC Pro Installer

  1. Once you know you have a license, download the Adobe DC Pro Installer by going to: https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html
  2. Click on the appropriate Acrobat Pro DC Download link (Windows, Mac >10.12 or Mac <10.11)
  3. Find the downloaded Zip file and right click on it to select Extract All...
  4. Open the Adobe Acrobat Folder
  5. Open the Adobe Acrobat Folder
  6. Run Setup.exe
  7. When prompted, Sign in using your Royal Roads email address
  8. After Signing in, check that your email address is listed under the Help tab at the top. ex Sign Out...(addison.3morris@royalroads.ca)

You should be good to go.
