Once you have been accepted into a program and are registered, you are officially a student and will automatically receive an email to the address you provided upon registration, detailing how to activate your computer account.

The email will contain a link for you to click that will direct you to an activation page where you will be asked to:

  1. provide a password.  Do not give this out to anyone, including instructors or other officials at the university.
  2. update your Emergency contact information
  3. accept responsibility for knowing our student policies and academic regulations

Once you've completed these three steps, please allow 30 minutes before you will have complete access to all the learning resources you'll need to complete your program.

What if I haven't received an activation email?

If you have not yet received such an email, please check the "Junk Mail" and/or "SPAM" folders in your email program first to ensure that it hasn't been improperly identified by your mail client.

If you cannot find your activation information, please contact Computer Services.  You can also call (250) 391-2659 or 1-866-808-5429.  We will require your Student # so we can verify your identity before responding with your username.
